A little girl watches old horror movies on TV and eats cookies. She eats a lot of cookies, and then lies about it when her mother gets home. Suddenly, there’s a scary new cookie jar; “Whenever a child has stolen a cookie from this jar…” her mother warms. It is an evil-looking cookie jar.
She opens the jar and pulls out ONE cookie. She continues to watch old movies as it gets dark outside. She sees Kookie in the background of the movie she’s watching.
She goes looking for her mom, but finds something else…
Commentary
I like it. It’s got a full story, with characters and everything. The cookie jar alone is creepy enough, and it’s well-filmed and the acting is good. They could have ended it halfway through, and it would have been good, but with the second half, they elevate it to something completely unexpected.
