What Happens

“What’s at the bottom of the lake? What’s waiting down there?” One man points a shotgun at a naked man at the side of the lake. He’s going to shoot of the naked man doesn’t do as he’s told. These guys have been friends a long time, so there’s some confusion as to why this is happening. The two talk back and forth, playing mind games with each other. How will this end. 

Commentary

It certainly looks cold, that’s for darned sure. John really knows how to hold a grudge, even after 25 years. Will he go into the lake, or won’t he? And what will he find if he does? There’s some psychological metaphorical thing going on here that I don’t quite grasp, but it’s very well made and creepy, even without any obvious gore.
