What Happens
Mikey is a big fan of horror films, but he’s only twelve, and they’re causing issues. He’s afraid of the dark, and more importantly, he’s afraid to go into the basement, a problem his parents are insistent that he get over. One night, he’s told to go down there and make sure the lights are turned off before bedtime. What could happen?
Commentary
The acting is good, the house & settings are good, and the creature effects are just perfect for the story. The pacing is right there, telling the whole story without dragging or making us guess about things. The happy ending makes it appropriate for the younger crowd as well.
Nice!
