A woman answers the phone, her ride is late to pick her up. There’s a strange man with giant googly eyes watching her from across the street. He waves, and she is creeped out. Someone knocks on her door, but no one is there when she goes to check. When she returns to where she was waiting, her phone is now missing. She steps inside and locks the door. Then she hears her phone ringing… from inside the house.

Commentary

It’s decent. It has a plot where things happen, so its easy to follow. And the idea is pretty neat– the googly eyes are either silly or creepy depending on how you want to look at it. Nothing is explained, and there’s no reaon for any of it, which takes something away from it. Still, it’s well-made and coherent, so it’s worth a five-minute investment of your time.
