It’s a creepy old place, but it’s better than wandering out in the woods in the rain. Miguel is afraid of the old man, but Maria wants to stay the night. What do you do in a creepy old inn with a one-eyed man in the next room? They start to have sex, but he can’t get going since he’s so terrified.

Miguel sees the man watching them through the window, but Maria doesn’t believe him.

Commentary

This subtitled film is well acted and looks really good. Once in a very great while, it really is the scary, one-eyed, taxidermy-loving innkeeper. There’s a reveal toward the end that is really good.
