Synopsis
“On dark and stormy nights, the Suckablood comes…” warns the narrator as we zoom into a dark old haunted-looking house. The little girl gets beaten by her stepmother for sucking her thumb.
The evil old stepmother calls down a curse on the girl: “Suckablook, Suckablood, I beg you, come do slaughter my daughter should she suck her thumb!”
Nice. The little girl then has to go to her bedroom in the attic, which isn’t at all creepy…
Unsurprisingly, the Suckablood pays her a visit later.
Commentary
I like it! It’s a fun blend of mostly-CGI with the little girl being a live-action character. Of course, the whole thing rhymes like an evil Mother Goose tale.
