Synopsis
A godly woman does everything she can to save her dying mother.
Commentary
I don’t know for sure, but giving your ailing mother tea that was given to you by a strange old woman in the woods does not seem like a smart thing to do. The costumes, sounds, voice effects, and visuals are all excellent here. It’s a French film, and I think a lot may have been lost in translation, but the theme seems to be something along the lines of the devil wanting to tarnish an otherwise good and devout woman. He does that, and more.
