Synopsis
A couple argues. He needs to go to work, and she wants him to stay. He goes to a coffee shop and they two text their arguments some more. The coffee shop woman doesn’t like social media and takes away his phone.
Meanwhile, his girlfriend is flirting with him by text. Little does she know he lost his phone earlier.
Commentary
The texting gimmick is good. They look off to the side where we see the text messages onscreen. At one point, the girl breaks the fourth wall and asks us if she should allow her boyfriend over.
The long conversation in the coffee shop with the analog music girl seems to have nothing to do with anything, but that was the most interesting part of this short film.
