Synopsis
Sara is an overweight teen that lives in the shadow of a clique of cool girls holidaying in her village. Not even her childhood friend, Claudia, defends her when she’s bullied at the local pool in front of an unknown man. Her clothes are stolen and Sara must get home wearing nothing but her bikini. Commentary
There’s bullying, body-shaming, assault here, but I think the scariest part of this video is that someone would swim in that filthy water. Actually, there are at least two levels of horror: The bullying and the man in the truck. It’s well acted, well shot, looks good, and you can follow the whole plot even if you don’t read the subtitles (it is subtitled).
Still, the ending pays off, and I think even Sara appreciates the irony.
